Your Learning Path
Learn at your own pace with the CEFR standard. We use the Common European Framework of Reference to give you a clear, step-by-step path from beginner (A1) to mastery (C2). You will always know exactly what to learn next—no pressure, no confusion, just steady progress through every unit.
A1 – Beginner
You learn the foundations of French: greetings, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and simple present-tense sentences. You learn how to introduce yourself and others, ask and answer personal questions about details such as where they live, people they know, and things they have, and interact in a simple way, provided the other person talks slowly and clearly.
A2 – Elementary
You begin communicating in everyday situations. You can communicate in simple, routine tasks that require a direct exchange of information on familiar matters, and can describe, in simple terms, aspects of your past, your immediate environment, and matters of immediate need.
B1- Intermediate
You can understand the main points of clear, standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, or leisure. You can comfortably deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken, produce simple connected text on topics of personal interest, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions, plans, and experiences.
B2- Upper Intermediate
You can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions within your specific field of expertise. You can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Furthermore, you can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue, giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
C1- Advanced
You can communicate fluently and spontaneously in academic or professional contexts and understand complex language with ease.
C2- Mastery
You reach near-native fluency and can understand almost everything you read or hear.
